Great Frozen Treats

The recipes with the maker are easy and clean-up is a snap. It makes the treat super fast and soft served just the way we love it. I transfer to a chilled container for serving to allow drum thaw and clean up after we have enjoyed some of the treat and re -freeze the drum ready to go again. We make some treat almost every day. Guets and friends love to enjoy it with us. We choose quality ingredients. Any recipe works to make 2 quarts in 25 minutes! Darkest coco chocolate ice cream made with reduced cream to skim milk ratio is unbeatable for chocolate lovers. Fresh fruits and avacado make wonderful gelatos, sorbets, or ice creams. We love to find new recipes, and experiencing novel treats and tastes and dig in.

Good looking but noisy

It's sleek, looks handsome on the countertop, and has a handy inset to store the electric cord.

On the minus side, it's noisy when operating. I've made 4 batches of ice cream so far and still am seeking a recipe to create a creamier texture, even when I'm using almost all heavy cream!

Pros: Able to make small batches of ice cream product in about 25 minutes without getting out the big old fashioned and much loved white mountain churn. Can use own ingredients and decrease the amount of fat and sugar in the product if that is your goal. Open top allows you to add ingredients at different points in the cycle.
Cons: It does make some noise, not unbearable, just requires an upping of the volume for conversation, so I just plan accordingly. The freezer bowl takes up space in the freezer (but you knew that) and if you touch the inside of the bowl when it is frozen--beware---that's what it is---frozen! and so will be your finger tip. I keep mine in a large zip top bag in the freezer, to keep crumbs etc. from getting in it. Not sure about the studiness of the plastic dasher, but so far so good. You do have to get the product out of the bowl when you think it is finished, or the edges will freeze hard.
Overall: Had it about 6 weeks and love the item, have developed a recipe to use up all sorts of summer fruits.....would buy it again if/when this one breaks or fails.
