This product does not freeze well. Best we got was a very thin "shake" consistency of ice cream- following one of the reciepes provided. Disappointing.

Terrific Product for Cool Treats!

Based in part, on the reviews submitted by others, I purchased this sturdy ice cream machine and could not be happier. It is easy to use, to clean and makes unlimited frozen deserts and drinks. I've made several flavors of ice cream, raspberry sorbet and a thick, fresh pineapple drink with texture that turns out like liquid silk. My family is thrilled with this treat maker. I recommend recipes from the Food Network site (especially Alton Brown's) and from the book "The Perfect Scoop" by David Lebovitz. Yes, it is a little noisy, but it is so worth the result. You won't be disappointed.

Tired of the mess and inconvenience of making homemade ice cream? This is the answer to easy, yummy ice cream anytime. A little noisy, but so are all of the other ice cream makers I have used.Plan to get one for my 84 yr. old mother so she can enjoy her favorite treat anytime.
