Excellent for making large batches of batter. The bowl is quite heavy when empty, but does hold a large amount of batter, which makes it even heavier. I would highly recommend this Anchor Hocking bowl.

This bowl is fantastic. I needed a glass bowl with a spout. We make our own ice cream and and use this for pouring the liquid in the ice cream maker.
