For retrieving your morning toast from the toaster, this wood Toaster Tong quickly pulls the toast out, keeping your fingers at a safe distance from the still-hot toaster. It's especially thoughtful for using when you're preparing toast for guests - your hands never come into contact with their slices.

After our Pampered chef tongs broke after years of use (and child play!), I googled wood toaster tongs and received this as a result. The design of the tongs, with a thick base most likely meant ot prevent pull -apart breakage, requires you to hold them far down to achieve the flexibility needed to grip the item you are removing from the toaster, They also lack the grooves on the inside of the ends which provides more gripping power. They do still work however, and seem to be very durable so far.

The gap between the prongs is to narrow and the prongs themselves are to stiff to operate easily!

Not good for thick sliced bread or bagels. Excellent for sandwich sliced bread. Good for use with toaster not with toaster oven - don't open wide wnough.
