An all-purpose scoop, this tool portions ice cream, frozen yogurt, cookie dough, meat balls, rice dishes, and vegetable purées. And it's ideal for forming pretty sherbet balls to fill dessert glasses.Set includes:

  • 3/8" - 10mm
  • 3/4" - 18mm
  • 1" - 25mm

    These melon ballers are also highly useful for garnishing fruits and vegetables. The smallest one is approximately the size of a pea, the medium one is approximately the size of a small grape, and the third mellon baller is approximately the size of a large olive for textual references on the sizes of this set.

    I made this purchase because it was the only one that had reviews. If they and now I can take the time to write about the product it must be good. I was mainly lookin for the smallest melon baller, it was a little smaller then what I had, but it worked just right. Now I just hope they last a long time.

    My last melon ballers bent and broke when I was using them with tougher veggies such as sweet potatoes. Not so, these. They work great.

    Fun with the Melon Baller

    I looked forward to getting my small melon baller from the day I ordered it. I could not find it anywhere but Cooking.com. From the moment I got it I played with it - making potato, melon and yam balls. I enjoyed putting them in salads and making snacks. I've had a lap-band and small foods are much easier for me to eat. The melon baller made eating a little more interesting. It's a little work but I feel well worth it!
